Lateral Arm Raise

  1. Stand straight with your feet shoulder width apart. Start with your hand straight by your side, palms facing in and holding a dumbbell in each hand. (Alternatively, sit on an upright bench or chair.)
  2. Keeping you arms straight, lift your arms out away from your body. Lift until your arms are just below the height of your shoulders.
  3. Slowly bring your arms down to your side in a steady, controlled motion. Repeat.
