   Bruschetta

Ingredients:

1 whole - tomato (chopped)
4 whole - milk mozzarella singles
8 slices - french bread (2 1/2 in.)
2 cloves - garlic (minced)
1 tablespoon - olive oil
1 teaspoon - dried basil leaves
1/8 teaspoon - salt & pepper

One of the easiest bruschetta recipes around and less than 150 calories per serving!

  1. In a bowl, mix small tomato slices, garlic, oil, basil, salt, & pepper.

  2. Place mixture evenly on each slice of bread.

  3. Place 1/2 piece of mozzarella single on each slice of bread.

  4. Toast in toaster oven until bread is toasted and/or until cheese begins to melt.
